NOS Waster
I am thinking about organizing an endurance racing series for people interested in driving near-stock Japanese cars.

I'll start listing off regulations. More regulations may be added in the future.

Country: Japan

Drive Type:
FR (Front Engine, Rear Wheel Drive)
Engine is mounted either on or in front of the front axle.
Example: Nissan 350Z, Toyota Supra

FMR (Front-Mid Engine, Rear Wheel Drive)
Engine is mounted between the front and rear axles, but is in front of the driver.
Examples: Mazda RX-7, Mazda RX-8

MR (also known as RMR) (Mid Engine, Rear Wheel Drive)
Engine is mounted on or in front of the rear axle.
Example: Honda NSX

Car Type: Street only, No Racing Modifications, No Racing Cars, No Rally Cars.
Horsepower: 305 HP
Weight: 1250 KG
Tires: Tires will be restricted to Sports Hard

Aero Kits: None allowed. If found to be using one, participant will be disqualified and be blacklisted from any future races. If a car comes stock with an aero kit, an exception will be made. (Take Note: I will have screenshots of every eligible premium car, so I will know if your car has a stock body or not)

Driving Aids: The only driving aids allowed will be Automatic Transmission and ABS because these are not enforceable.
Mechanical Damage: Heavy
Grip Reduction on Wet/Grass/Sand: Real
Race Finish Delay: 3 minutes
Penalties: Light (If i see any excessive track cutting while exploiting the penalty system with a clutch, you will be disqualified and blacklisted.)

Grid Order: Fastest First. I will have a qualifying session for one person at a time to set a flying lap. This will determine the order that I set people up prior to a race.

Race Schedule:

Race 1: Nurburgring 250 (Km)
Track: Nurburgring Nordschleife 24h w/ Time and Weather Change
Start Weather: Sunny, Random
Game Time: 1800 (6:00 PM)
Laps: 10 (253.6 Km)

Race 2: Indianapolis 150 (mi)
Track: Indianapolis Road Course
Laps: 58

Race 3: Trial Mountain 150 (mi)
Track: Trial Mountain R
Laps: 61

Race 4: SSR5 300 (Km)
Track: Special Stage Route 5 R
Laps: 80 (303.2 Km)

Race 5: Madrid 250 (Km)
Track: Madrid Full Circuit
Laps: 74 (250.86 Km)

Race 6: Autumn Ring 175 (mi)
Track: Autumn Ring
Laps: 96

Race 7: Sarthe 200 (mi)
Track: Circuit de la Sarthe 2009 w/ Weather Change and Time Change
Starting Weather: Sunny, Random
Game Time: 1800 (6 PM)
Laps: 24

Race 8: Tokyo 300 (Km)
Track: Tokyo R246
Laps: 59 (302.8 Km)

This series will be run in two separate races.

A points system has not yet been formed. Good suggestions will be accepted (Make it a 31 person scale, because I want to participate. I will not count myself twice. I will actually sit off to the side in one race and let people race)

Also: Each driver can pick a number between 1 and 31 (including 1 and 31). Each week, the points will be saved, but the next race will be open to the first 30 people to sign up once again. This allows people to miss a race if need be and still be in the series.

Also, I am open to time slot suggestions. I will try to come up with estimated length of time for each race. All I can say is: Expect races to be between 1 and 2 hours long. I will post a more detailed time per race estimate soon.

Registration is open to the First 30 drivers that sign up here. After that, there will be a 20 driver waiting list in case someone does not make the race. If you are on the waiting list, please make sure that you are online at the time of the race in case someone doesn't make it. I will message the first person up if this is the case.

To sign up:
- Post your PSN (So I can add you)
- Post the car you will be using. (If you want to change, just PM me so I know)
- Post the color of your car and/or rims (If using custom rims)
- Post a time slot suggestion (If you want)
- Post your number pick (make sure it is not taken)
- Post any other pertinent info

Current Sign-ups:
1: NOS_Waster - Car Undecided - Color Unknown - #15
2: GTP_Beliall - Car N/A - Color N/A - Number N/A

Reserved Post for entrants from SlideWayz Racing.
SWR entrants do not have priority, this is just to let everyone know who is signing up.

If you don't mind me asking, why do you have the restriction on length/width/height?

I dunno, just thought I'd put it in there. Probably isn't needed anyway.

Edit: Now that i think of it, I didn't want someone with a really short wheelbase joining. I'm probably going to remove em.

I think I'm either going to enter with one of the following cars:

1997 Honda NSX-S-Zero
A RWD Skyline

Okay. I'll see if I can get any more people to sign up. If I can't get enough people to sign up by the 14th, I'll scrap the event.

Just my view on the issue.

As I see that not many have expressed interest. I would like to do a lower HP street car endurance, yes. To me a lower level tuned car has more appeal than driving a high HP racecar for a long unbroken stretch.

But looking here at the idea of signing up to a full series of endurance races seems like too much of a commitment.

I am interested, but was hesitant to say so because my schedule is sort of haywire, and I don't know if I would be able to make it.

It seems hard to get enough interested to start a series here, perhaps all those with the time are already invested in some other series. I'm interested, but what time zone are the times for? 10 laps of the ring isn't that long, less than an hour and a half.

You can count me in. It also depends on the time. During the week, anytime during the evenings is good. I'm on the east coast. I'm not sure what car I will be using. Probably an mr2 turbo.
