If you happen to follow Formula One at all, you're most likely aware that Suzuka will be replaced in 2007 by Herman Tilke's revamped Mount Fuji circuit (known to us in-game as Fuji 2005). While Suzuka was/is a great venue, the Fuji circuit is quite a challenging drive with it's high-speed entry into a banked corner (turn 3 and 4) as well as the three corners at the end which feature some interesting elevation changes.
That said, what say we get to know the 'new guy' and say 'See you every once in a while' to the old . . . in the Polyphony FormulaGT, of course. This spot race should be run in GT Mode since setups add an interesting element. There's not much you can change on the car, so feel free to try whatever you like as far as gearing, downforce, LSD, etc. are concerned.
Please, don't bother cheating if you have the means. This is to include no more than 2 wheels off the tarmac at any given time, so please don't submit a time where you've used the excessive run-off to make the corner. Aside from that, have fun with this challenge -- it should be.
I'll maintain a leaderboard in this thread and you can submit your times by posting in here. I'll update them when I am able to check the thread. Enjoy.
