kinda having trouble on this one, tell me wat car you guys used i used the dome zero concept '78:sly:

no joke i used the subaru 360. its a good challenge and gives good sideways action. just like the old fiat 500 for european classics.

Fairlady 2000 '68 fully modded. No problems whatsoever.

The Dome has to win if you upgrade the tires.

The Honda race car is fun, but may or may not be able to beat the Dome Zero in every event without massive upgrades.

I fielded a 2000GT, just had power mods up to 201HP, the rest of the car was as is.

Have to agree with above..2000GT a great little car

i haven't done it yet. but i will do it with a stock dome zero..

Is this from last November(ish)? Apologies if I'm a bit conused:confused:. I went for variety.

I used the Honda Z (fully tweaked) - managed to beat the Dome at Tsukuba but it's not fast enough on tracks requiring more power.

Scooby 360 (full tune) at Trial Mountain. I tried the Honda N360 but didn't cut it.

Vaguely remember using a 2000GT and 70s Mitsubishi Galant. Pretty sure i gave a KPGC10 a couple of runs as well.

So many great cars to choose from...

Mitsubishi Lancer 1600 GSR Rally Car '74

From the OCD, was easy

I will second this. Using this car right now (stock, no changes to the setup) and usually taking the lead with at least a lap to go in the first 3 races so far.

Just completed the third race this morning right before or as the server was being worked on. The lead car (can't remember what type) was fast in the straights but I caught him in the twisty bits.

'71 Nissan (Datsun) 240ZG. Use it for all my Japanese pre 79 races.

This is the best of all the old Japanese cars. Beautiful to look at and runs hard!

The Honda S800 race car, fully tuned, racing softs = a really fun car to drive and wins the races easily.

I think I used a modded mazda 110s or whatever. I think it's a prize car.

I used the Honda S800 Race Car in all the events stock (tuned the transmission, but it comes w/ a fully customizable one) and it was very easy to win most of the races. I was able to pass the Dome Zero on the last corner on SS Route 5 on the 2nd try and that was the only one that was a challenge.

Toyota Race 70's,Nuff Said

I won in a 70s skyline I think they are the best for this event.

Dome all the way

you can use pretty much any classic japanese car. If you can't win with it, keep tuning until you can. It's fun that way too, IMO. Ive done it with a ton of cars and usually after a few mods, even the Dome is a back marker in a few laps.

Lancer 1600 GSR Rally Car '74 is great for this one. Neat little car.

280Z, Dome Zero and 2000GT should all be good too.

I doubt about this one, because I haven't tried it yet. But I had a lot fun watching one of the AI opponents fighting with it's oversteer on Grand Valley track :)

As for me I've used Mazda 110s, but have completed only one track only this far, because I've focused on detuning GSX for TT on Kart Space.

Mazda 110's are good fun. I'll use like sport hards if the Dome is not in the lineup or racing tires to run down the Dome.

mitsu lancer rally car......it is a wayyyy better car than I thought
and I bought it because it was the only thing available to me at the time for that race.

I used the Dome... Modified because I am not good otherwise...

I used a slightly tuned 1974 Lancer 1600 GSR Rally Car. I won by 12 seconds.

Had a weird issue with my garage. Sorted by PP, Dome was 368 points stock (I think) so I chose that. Went to enter the race and it wouldn't allow it. Went back into garage, saw it was 368PP, tried to reenter the race and wouldn't allow it. Went back to garage and saw Dome was 400PP. Never had that happen before.

Bone stock Skyline GT-R was tail happy in the sweepers but good enough for gold. Easy million.

I had the same issue. If you got the car early in 2011 or before, the number displayed will be under the old PP calculation. The new PP calculation usually raises the PP.

Nissan 280Z, with its fair share of upgrades
Only minor glitch involved catching the dome at ssr5
