UPDATED RULES - WE ARE NOW ALLOWING TEAM ENRTIES PLEASE SEE FORM BELOW HOW THIS WILL WORK - To All GT Sport Racers, please come help me raise lots of money for a charity close to my heart (Swindon Carer centre). Come sign up for my 6 hour endurance race sponsored by Mercedes Benz Swindon. The race will be on 21st July at 14.00pm BST. We have some amazing prizes lined up including things such as Xbox 1. We are also in talks with GAME and Fanatec.

So please if your interested comment on this post and i will personally message you back. Thanks in advance guys

There are so many things you can do in this race 1) Get a mate round help you out over the 6 hours. 2) Race for couple hours pull over and rest if want, remembering there will be more prizes than just winning race. 3) Do full 6 hours if your man enough then that person fully deserves to win race - IT IS FOR CHARITY GUYS SO DONT LET 6 HOURS PUT YOU OFF - Have fun with it

Just as a suggestion, as you are (presumably) in Swindon and fundraising for a local charity, have you reached out to Handy Motorsport or TH White Alfa Romeo to see if they could offer some prize or anything? They are good people.

Edit: Just realised maybe that would conflict with Mercedes Swindon being your main sponsor. Didnt think it through!

What is the reason for the 6h endurance ? Mostly an endurance of this kind means you are paying by the minute or the hour so the more driving the more money goes to charity. In this case I am clearly missing something.

Would a race of 3 hours not suit better ?

I like the idea of 6 hours, not really for charity or anything, that's just a plus. I love endurance racing like this.

By your logic, a race of 3 minutes would be even better, so long as the money raised is the same.

I think you are looking at it wrong if im honest. The way i see it is that lots of people would ENJOY doing a 6 hour race with like-minded people, so that is the attraction. Any money raised for charity is just a bonus.

I dont think OP is a regular poster here, so may not see the message, but if you read through the posts he lists an email to contact him on. Thats what i did when i signed up.

I agree 6 hours is fun. But online you can drive 30 min max. Going directly to 6 hours is a little overkill. Still I do like endurances. Even of this kind.

But I was just asking why 6 hours in regard to the goal.
 
hi all if any of you are interested in racing it will be great, we currently have 9 confirmed so leaves 7 spots open, it will be first come first serve on who pays entry fee first, there is great prizes up for grabs including Xbox 1. All this is to raise money for a local charity of mine who help with training of carers for elderly etc.

The race rules and how it works are on the entry form, it will be an open room so not needed to race full 6 hours, but if you want to win the race then more laps you do the better...:)

hey bud the reason for the 6 hours is i believe when collecting sponsorship from friends and family, they will appreciate 6 hours more than 3, but if you look at race rules, it will be open lobby and the race will be done on how many completed laps you do so you could race for 3 have half hour rest race for remaining 2 1/2 if wanted etc.
