Jean-Eric Vergne: The future of F1?

After an astonishing performance in Brit F3 this season, wrapping up the title with 6 races to go, and good showings in GP3 and Renault 3.5, Jean-Eric Vergne has the talent that is required, for sure. Next year he is rumored to do the full Renault 3.5 season, is he possible F1 material? Only time will tell, but do you guys think he has the speed and skill for F1?

Difficult to say. Jules Bianchi obliterated everyone in Formula 3 last season, but he hasn't made much of an impression in GP2. So there's no real way of judging Vergne's potential as a Formula 1 driver. After all, Romain Grosjean's only competition in GP2 was Vitaly Petrov, but when Grosjean made it into Formula 1, he spent most of his time spinning around.
