Well after looking around at all the cars. I am trying to see if anyone is interested in doing a 5-7 track series for the Standard 99-01 JGTC cars.

Here is a list of cars that I could find that fit the bill.

Anyone interested please post here as I am not sure if the series will be using HP/Weight restrictions or if I might do a 600-620 PP to allow more competitor choice to change the car.
 
I'd be up for this defo! Got alot of these cars lying around in my garage and don't get much opportunity to use them. Would be cool :)
 
Setting it to a maximum PP would probably be better as it as you say it would give people a chance to choose and set up a particular car
 
My main concern with only setting PP would be that everyone will have a stage 2 turbo for the added torque.

sounds good to me, I need to race starting at 12am GMT earliest tho (any night), so will have to wait and see what time you'll be kicking off

if you go with PP then it allows everyone to setup their car how they prefer and the cars should all perform fairly even, isn't that the point of using PP? some will choose aero over power, some will choose hp over torque etc
 
I am also thinking about doing a Handicap system. Not with using weight as there is no real way to tell if people are adding weight to their cars. I am thinking about using the Tires as a hindrance. As an example everyone starts with Racing Hards. The 4 worst finishers are allowed to use Meds on the next race. Depending on the out come continue allowing people till they get to Softs. I would also use the tire handicap as some one can use Racing Meds on the front but must use Racing hards on the rear. IT is a system I am working on testing and fine tuning.
 
I am interested depending on the time schedule. I'll keep checking to see.
 
I would be way in for this. As long as it's not on a Wednesday or Thursday night. Any other weekday should be ok for me. :-)

I was considering a Saturday race day. More then likely some time after 1pm Central due to me having to work 5-6 days a week.

I may be hit or miss on a Saturday event. Weekends are kind of busy for me. But, just post your date and time, and I will TRY to be there.
 
I think for the time being I am going to delay this. With how unstable 1.10 I am hoping to fine tune the handicap system and get a good track list.
