Joe Paterno, Division I's winningest coach, died today due to complications from lung cancer
ESPN Article

Winningest =/= real word. Most successful.

I think this is the 3rd thread we've had on this.

ESPN's word not mine.

Also, I think he deserves his own RIP thread, seeing as he is the best and all.

It's just too bad his reputation will include harboring a pedophile.

Regardless of the latest PSU scandal, Joe Pa. was one of the greatest NCAA coaches to ever grace the sidelines.

R.I.P. Joe

Absolutely, Nicksflix. Horrific school year for Penn State. My thoughts and prayers are with JoePa. He WAS Penn State. He's the first guy you normally think about when thinking about Penn State. Even with the scandal, he will sorely be missed.

RIP JoPa. Great man, great leader, great coach. Too bad it had to all end the way it did. Not a Penn St fan, but loved the man. I wish people's last thoughts wouldn't be what they are. He deserved better. Hopefully his legend will transend it all.

Joe Paterno didn't deserve to died after being fired. He deserve to died still the coach of Penn's State
