Hello fellow GTP'ers:tup:

I will be putting together a website/CMS and E-Commerce/online store for a motorcycle dealership.

I would like a front end where I can easily build menu's and categories as well as post articles and blogs while the Online store must be simple with both easy to customize without having to know PHP Java etc.

At the moment I am thinking Joomla for the front end and OpenCart for the store. I have no experience using either but have my own VBulletin site which I put together and customized myself which was pretty simple using the easily editable templates/tools.

I thought of WordPress but apparently I need a more programming skills. Also considered Magento but have used before and found it a little too complicated and difficult to use.

Any advise would be great, if you need to know more about what I plan to do then ask away.

Thanks

Ryan

I have been developing Joomla sites for for the better part of 3 years now. My free suggestion would be a Joomla and Ecwid relationship. Ecwid is an amazing, easy to use, customizable shop that is up and running in minutes (less stocking the shelves). Also integrates nicely with Facebook if you're into that whole social media 'thang'. :)
