Dear moderators, particulary Jordan, I kindly request You to post any thread or petition on a front page for Drift development in GT5 by Polyphony Digital. I dont think it is so difficult to implement the scoring system with exp. and credits either online or to A-Spec races. There is nothing to change that much in the game, my request is rather constructive and real to be added with any further patch. And something more, regarding ALL who need some more interest in GT5 : PD must patch online system to bring us statistics of number of online races + experience points earned online + total mealage online + time spent online. It would be really challenging for ALL of us and it definetly could make life of GT5 game longer as long we could see other playas achievments and aspire to distinguish ourselves among the rest of people....Just imagine for a second, you have completed the game offline, nothing to do but seasonal events AND suddenly you realise dat someone has 1000 races online and 500 wins of them...You want immideatly to go online and try to take over the lead of number of wins online and distanse raced so others could see what a HARDCORE playa YOU ARE................................
 
I do not really expect any kinda sarcasms and so on. Just think about it buddies, especially second part of my post - online statistics will bring in to the GT5 SPIRIT of competition, something like endless gameplay, everlasting story of online gaming....We can never stop plain' caus we will feel a thirst of getting more and more exp. points and percentage of winnings to satisfy our EGO.....Please think about it....Hope PD find something interesting im my post
 
What happened to playing just for fun... do we need xp and credits for everything

The stats part, I agree with you there though
 
Playin' for fun is about yor own decision, but its wellknown that there is a lack of events and attraction to gameplay in GT5, so this stats. system could have HEALED the helpless patient what GT5 IS
 
I actually wanted this thread to be more about drift, but if it radically turns into GT5 life rescue propositions thats fine...I whant to say something more about stats: I had been plaing 3 years a racing game ( dont whant to say a name) with 30% career completion, you know why? Only online system wich was very interesting and competitive, very reliable without any lags and so on HELD me AND thousands of people in this game.......
You say play for fun....aaahhhh, what about competition, this is a Driving Simulator, tell me please, What will keep you for plaing this game ( GT5) after a year or two? Nice premium cars' details? Or may be endless car duping? What about RACE? What about some achievements? Comparasion wit others? Do you know why Duping of cars in GT5 has become so popular? Because people feel no reason of playing half made product ( GT5 IS), this is a human being to get more and more of something they would compare with others. If PD will radically patch online system DUPING wil die at the first day 'cause everybody will move into online wich provides them a piece of kake wich they never eat completely...
 
Drifting events in special events would be logical to add in the future.
