man, he was incredible. sucks he won't be in F1 anymore. that clip of him passing Michael around the outside of the busstop chicane at Spa absolutely made me **** my pants when I saw it live. that is the most memorable pass I've ever seen and it was definately one of the best passes in the history of the sport. I was stuck wondering why none of the announcers didn't say much about it. also, the clip where he tries to pass Kimi around the outside of the hairpin at Hockenheim!!! that was insane!!! I wish I could do that!

rock.

Always very enjoyable to watch, and clearly very talented. Unfortunately a highly frustrating driver to support: he has never been able to consistently apply his magic. Jean Alesi of the new Millennium. I look forward to seeing him in NASCAR though.

I would agree there and so unfortunatly I was disappointed by him. He has done nothing in the McClaren except knock Kimi out of races and I feel that in the last couple of years he gave up. I hope he gets his drive back for racing when he is in NASCAR though I probably won't see him...

If you think that was badass, then you should've seen what Juan did in a Champ Car with zero traction control.

Ashley.
its a shame to see him go.

I agree! I was disappointed to hear that the Monster was leaving F1 to go to Nascar! Its not going to be the same without JPM, what a character! But I wish him all the best in Nascar! Good luck Montoya!

Got some vids of his crazy stuff in champ car? I really like how he drives, his not that consistent and he doesnt seem to give all his effort, but when his on, his really on.

I've always been a bit 50-50 with JPM...he's pulled off some great moves and some ballsy stunts...but he's made some stupid mistakes and had total disregard for Kimi's championship push last season. I'll admit I will miss him in F1 though and I'll certainly keep tabs on him in NASCAR when I can, but it's not a sporting disaster for him to go. After all, he's not happy in F1..best for both..now if only Sato would go...

I've met him and he came across a bit obnoxious in a 'small man complex' kind of a way. Should be fun in NASCAR though!
