I don't trust IGN much anymore.

Anyways, I'll be getting Juiced. Hopefully, they'll have Honda unlike SRS which turned to be somewhat of a let-down.

i agree with McLaren F1GTR srs was a huge let down, i have heard rumours that the developers went bankrupt and the game will not released, i guesse the person that told me this was wrong. As for honda in the game, it does not matter to me the only honda i like is a guy at my brothers work completly stock on the outside but an h22 twin turbo under the hood, he beat my brothers audi a4 quatro, now that civic is a sleeper.

Yes I guess I was wrong..but I never knew your brother downsized from an A4 to an A2.:dunce:

Acclaim did go bankrupt. Now that THQ have bought the rights to the game they plan on improving it and perhaps add some new stuff. It's a shame they pushed it back 8 months,i was looking forward to this game.

I may be mistaken but I thought the development team that is developing Juiced also developed the ill-fated Lamborghini game that was supposed to have come out last year or earlier this year? I presume they're being paid by someone!LOL

Lamborghini game?

Last ALL- and-ONLY Lamborghini game I heard of was for N64.

Anyways, going with this, Juiced seems to have quite the mix of cars. I do like the modifing features.

SRS' modefying is BLAH! There was also that big HP crap screen in the way, and rarely a variety in exterior parts. There were even points in the gam where you could possibly run out of money, and then, somehow, have to find a way to get a bunch back.

SRS' cars were nice, but variety was also a let down.
AND what the hell was the point of having 3 cities when the other 2 only appeared less than 10 times, and rarely anything to do with the game!? The lack of a free run was a let down. In other words, VARIETY wasn't in SRS. 👎

Juiced is my next hope.

THQ has the rights to it and they've given the developer 8 months to improve the game. 8 is a long time, there are no other racing games other than Ridge Racer 6 and Enthusia in that time line.

Lo! i heard juiced was supposed to be released in summer '05, like a year ago, on some show on G4 ( a channel for gamers by gamers!) and it sounds completely bada$$!!!!! 👍

This "Lamborghini" game was by Rage Software and was supposed to come out last year.
Lamborghini for Xbox
I thought the development team for this then went on to make Juiced, but I'm not sure.

Edit: I was right Google search Ex-Rage members made Juiced. Previously worked on Lamborghini.

Well I jus watched a video of ingame footage of juice, and whats with the bodykits shaking like they weren't secured properly?:odd:

its part of the damage model, hit a wall and it will come loose. there is a developer video feature on the whole damgae model and other features about the game.

"The same judge refused a bid from Electronic Arts, telling the publishing giant that it had come into proceedings too late"

Why did EA want this game, let see they have: Burnout 3 and NFSU 2.

What do EA want, next they'll be trying to buy the rights to GT and Entusia. :grumpy:

EA wanted to buy it then destroy the code just like they did with "Lamborghini". They bought the "Lamborghini" code then destroyed it, which is why it was never released after they (Rage) went bust, another reason I despise EA and the crap they make. Of note did you know the day that Rage went bust they sent out 'review code' to several magazines and the game (Lamborghini) was only a couple of weeks from release.

They wouldn't/can't buy the rights for GT , PD or Sony wouldn't do that either.

If EA did that than I must admit that was an act of calculated business visciousness. They certainly don't want any competition! I had been looking forward to the "Lamborghini" game as well.

That must also mean that Juiced is not based on the "Lamborghini" game engine. I've seen plenty of previews of the game. It must have been close to release.I just hope "Juiced" comes out.

So Lamborghini won't be made? That game looks really good. Has alot of potential. 👍

ERR!!! Who cancelled it? EA? D*mn them! Killed a perfectly good-looking game.

That was canned a long time ago.

edit: EA placed a bid for Juice(those nazis) but was denied a bid because it was placed too late or so they say.

I can't believe EA. First they keep the licenses, WHEN they aren't even using them anymorem, then they go out, and kill off competitors.

ARE they really that afraid of competitors? I mean, c'mon, their Need For Speed series has high sells. They had high sells when GT3 came out.
