It really does, im playing the demo.

Playing this game prolly dropped my sim-racing IQ about a million points, beyond horrible phsyics, but maybe im just used to gt/enthusia... oh and the gameplay sucks, gain respect? im tired of these stupid tuner underground racing games
 
Well considering you thought games like Midnight Club sucked, I'm not really going to take your opinion to seriously. But it's a demo, demos are never as good as the actual game.
 
Isn't that demo pretty old? You know, Juiced sorta dissappeared after Acclaims fall and is now bought as a property for another company? (Developers the same though)... I don't think there is a new demo out for that game in a while...

Oddly enough... Criterion and BurnOut 3 was also gone (under Acclaim) until EA picked up the developer and the game....

Picking on a game that isn't even out... 👎
 
And on a demo as well. Just look at what the Forza demo was like (not perfect) and how the game turned out (bloody brilliant) ...

Even though I'm a bit sick of tuner games (brought about mainly by the ricing that you were forced to do to your cars in NFSU2) but this one has a some potential I think.

Worth a rent at least.

when did i say midnight club sucked?

if anything i think i said NFSU2 sucked, and id rather play MC.

ANyway, juiced, the way you handle cars is horrible.

Sound, cars sound -ok-, but the crowd constantly whistles, and it only sounds like 1 or 2 people are whistling, gets annoying.

Courses, suck. Straight ways with little cornering. The game will yell at you way too early when to brake or slowdown. its like "BRAKE NOW!!!!" when i didnt even need to break to get thru the half assed turn.

ANyway, yea, its a demo. so?

Your thread title would be more like... Juiced Demo Sucks!!!
 
I got the newer Juiced demo today, I must say its a hell of a lot better than the old one. Yes, the brake directions are that of grandma, but its quite a bit better since the demo includes 2 races and lets you modify your car on your own. 👍
 
I told everyone this when I played the full build I recieved ages ago before acclaim went out of business (and before i quit my job :'().

It really isn't a very good game, marketed towards those who are looking for a NFSU clone with a pinch more of F&F added in.

This game makes me wish I had four hands....



So I could give it four thumbs down.
 
Why not an extra pair of thumbs instead?
 
I too am really sickmof all this Street racing cheesiness of gaining 'respect' from having a totally fugly modded car. Atleast in MC3 there was very little/no storyline and car modding was totally up to the player. I say no storyline as an advantage because they are always the same anyway:

Stereotypical racer - Hey punk you suck!
You - whatever i'll beat anyday
Stereotypical racer - not in that heap o' junk you won't
*you beat cocky ricer*
Stereotypical racer - you got lucky

X100 or so and then game complete

Sad thing is i will probablyh still get the game even if it's only a rental for the HDD
 
Juiced is going to release tommorow. I never tried the demo. So i'll buy the game. The best demo for me is : Gran Turismo 4 (Japanese demo, not the BMW one 👍 )
 
I tried on PS2. And yeah, it's not really a good game... Graphics are okay, tuning is about 3 aero parts each parts ( i think), physics are not good at all.
 
This game totally blows.
- Graphics are really bad, even on a High End PC.
- Turning sucks.
- No Burnouts? WTF? Like a dot of smoke.
- I cant play on my Logitech.
- The sounds suck, where is the turbo i put into my car?
- Mods, there is none, literally.
- Physics were suppose to be good, but they arent.

Overall I give this game a 3 out of 10!
-Midnight Club is way better.
-SRS is way better(not to good of a game too)
-Underground series is way way better, probably the best.
-Lets not talk about FORZA or GT4.

Ditto. It's like beating a dead horse.

Question. If the "underground tuner scene" has a dozen videogames, several movies, and a couple dozen toy licenses, how can they still call it... "underground"?

Thumbs up to Rockstar for trying something innovative with Midnight Club 3.
 
Ive played NFS undergournd2 and enjoyed some of it... The best part is making the car using the huge selection of parts, but the driving gets boring and repetative and its also easy. Im not a fan of midnight club nor of juiced, but i must say the modding and tuning is fun. You are either a guy who likes realism and serious racing or someone who wants fun.

Whatever peoples opinion i want to play Juiced, have been waiting for it since last year. (am currently working my way through Killzone, then will get juiced).

Its just a horrible game, but if u must, rent first please.

Whoa! SRS is better?! Juiced must really suck then. SRS is the worst racing game I've ever played and I've played almost all for PS2. I hope you didn't pay for that. :crazy:
 
i also played the new demo it just plain sucks worst Driving physics and the graphics look really cartoonish kinda like cell shaded graphics.
