Hey guys! I wasn't going to make a nomination thread for July because we still had so many cars that were good nominations from the last thread. However, considering the physics changes I thought it would be a good idea to start another one. I think think the physics changes helped some of the FR and MR cars on our list, but not so much the FF, so I'll nominate an oldie than never got its chance in the spot light - the Ford Ka.
I look forward to seeing what you guys nominate!

The Chevy Chevelle gets my nomination this month! Or as @Bowtie-muscle called it earlier the Heavy Chevelle!:lol:I don`t think its as bad as it was pre 1.09. But, its still proving hard to unlock the potential I believe is in this monster.
On a different note. I`m finding these difficult car challenges to be a great way to learn and solve the tuning problems that GT6 has given us! Cheers @XS!

Yes it is heavy, and yes it is better than pre 1.09.....however, my testing says it does NOT like the new default suspension. And I have a tune pretty close to done for it.

I'll throw the Gathers Drider Civic into the mix, haven't had a go with an FF since the update

It was nominated a while back and I thought it sounded fun, sorry for making a suggestion
It is fun, just not very difficult. Very good car actually. A bunch of us race them all the time. Mugen Motul is a great car too.

Yeah the Mugen Motul is one of my favourite FFs in the game, got a lot of character to it

Yes it does. We get some pretty intense racing going with that car. Run them same PP HP on RM, absolute blast. Actually get a sweat going.

What about Isuzu 117?

It's pretty quick at 400-450pp, but I can't seem to get it acting nicely in this game. I had quite a good, planted 450pp tune in GT5 but it suffers a particular problem that a lot of the old FRs (also old in terms of being standards) suffer from; being a mid to late corner oversteer.

Stock is quite soft with some understeer, and the back end breaks away slowly from the mid corner. Start fiddling with the tune and quickly it turns into a later/exit snap oversteer. I know it is definitely not the differential settings - I have done plenty of testing.

I come to a reasonable 450pp SH drive, but is a bit of a compromise and I'm not really happy with it. I would love to see some of the good tuners work their magic on this Italy meets Japan 60s beauty.
