man how did you guys jump so far and high. i think my farthest jump was 100 m at the airport on the pcj or ferrari. and highest was at the airport on a little yellow jump on the pcj. i think like 17 m. please let me know where to do the jumps that got you so far and high. and while i'm here any tips on the shooting range, cant get over 35. also the driver mission is damn near impossible. beat it once but cannt do it again so tips on that too
thanks

Use the tank to do the jumps, especially on the airport ones, because you can fire the gun backwards. Tips on the shooting range, hit the third one nearly all the time and finish the middle one about 2 times total.

Use the tank, it can get ungodly speeds when using the turret.

As for the shooting range, shoot out the first two targets, except for the head region. then just concentrate on the 3rd target.

As for the driver mission i find that when he starts to pull ahead of you keep hitting him, rear-end him and try to make him spin out and get stuck behind an imovable object like a tree which should buy you some time.

If all else fails, go on a killing spree!! It helps to relieve stress. :D

In the driver mission, just bump him into other cars, or you could go to pay and spray at the start of the race (near the pizza place) and then park in front of the pizza place, and then sniper him when he comes over the bridge...take his car and finish the race! Then you also have a bulletproof Sabre Turbo as well!

Is the driver mission one of those for the Malibu? Just make sure you get in front of him and don't let him pass you. Remember, you have the advantage of using better turns and such.

It's always fun to put in the Jumping cars cheat, go to Vice City Section 1 with the Blista, and jump just when you're getting air one one of it's many mini-bridges. If you time it just right, you go pretty high and even flip end-over-end [in the air].

I like the packer with FBI chasing me. if you slam headlong into a wall, the FBI cars wont have time to react, and go shooting off the ramp:D

I like driving backwards through town in that thing. cars start flipping and blowing up, and the cops don't even think it's my fault! :D

My longest jump is 147m with the PCJ600 at the airport. One of the runways has a 45 degree ramp at the end. Start from the other end, push slightly forward on the joystick so you'll crouch forward to maximise your speed and just punch it to the end and if you do it right then you should get 130m or more.

I didn't know about that tank trick though, I must try that. What kind of distances can you get?

Hey Kieran Murphy, why not just use a Infernus and try to get long jumps? Since that is your favorite car and all :D    :p

I love the Infernus and all. But it's kinda crap for doing huge insane jumps. The PCJ600 can reach totally insane speeds by simply crouching slight forward using the joystick. It must have the highest possible speed of all road vehicles. Can you get a 147m jump in the Infernus? I doubt it.

Althought I haven't tried the tank trick where you blast the cannon behind you to boost your speed. That's something I gotta try, though I'd be surprised if you could get a 147m jump in a 40ton hunk of reinforced armoured steel.

And I'm not interested in those "super jumps" I've heard about at the lighthouse and Phil's Place. Supposedly you can get jumps thousands of meters long, hundreds of meters high and insane rotations. But again, that's not for me. That's a program bug and qualifies as a cheat for me.

Besides, I only use the Infernus and listen to Crockett's Theme so I can be really sad and think I'm a Miami Vice cop cruising around in a $200,000 car that he couldn't possibly afford on a cop's salary. Unless he's taking enormous bribes from drug dealers and arms dealers to ignore their clandestine activities.

Not that I'd approve or even disapprove of corrupt and evil policemen.

Yeah, i don't like doing glitchy things to get high stats like that either, but i always cheat in all games, so i guess that makes me a hipacrit or however you spell it :D
