I am going to help you on Yahoo.

Welcome to GTPlanet, USE THE SEARCH BUTTON.

Please, to make our stay, and yours, more enjoyable.

After remembering about the search button, read the FAQs... no, I'm not kidding nor teasing you, GT3 was fairly obvious but GT4 is a nightmare for a beginner to figure out what to do.

Some basics:

- Run every race in both A-spec and B-spec. What are they? How do you win at them? RTFM, of course.

- Go to every car vendor, and make yourself a list of every race there that you can do with whatever license you have. This will simplify life.

- If you have no car, buy a used Miata, or just use the cars you win doing licenses.

- When you have enough money (after 25% completion), but a Chrysler Crossfire, win the Crossfire race and get a Viper. Upgrade it fully. Race El Capitan endurance and win a Toyota "Minolta". Rerun as needed (maybe at night) selling the "extra" Minoltas. Cash problem eliminated permanently.

- Before the 25% completion, do the same thing to race cash, by running the Costa D'Amalfi rally and selling the prize car... less cash, but plenty anyway, and quick.

That should get you started.

and don't be so cheap... buy the game

I disagree. It is not about being cheap.

GT4 targets a different audience than most "arcade-type" racing games, and it can be utterly frustrating for beginners.

Although I bought it, I believe that rent before you buy is definitely the way to go.

But in the end, these are just personal opinions. So do whatever is right for you.

Who's this Juss fella thats rented GT4? Cant be a typo since S and T have a few key's between them.

i bought it on the first day, it's really a trouble game for beginners... but some one helped me and i was on my way! if you like the game, buy it. and what zPhoenix said, is really helpfull!! goodluck, and don't get to addicted to drifting, otherwise you never make the 100% lol

People say "Juss" when they are too lazy to say "Just" its boggles my mind how lazy on keyboard people can be

perhaps french people say "juss"...

that, by the way, was "juss" a joke

I rented GT4 for like 15 days and finally got a job....Im planning to buy it this weekend

there are the usual good buys for 10k in the early 90's section.

it worked in GT2 so it should do well in here also.

Am I cheap for getting mine for $1.50?? (I think that's what it was?) :indiff:

and howed you manage that?.. i got mine for $25 australian. i traded games in for it

did you trade them in a EB?
i wanted to trade some old games in and they offered me like $2.50 per game, so i told them to stick their $2.50 back in their coinslot
but
they were pretty old games

yeah thats were i traded them at,

they offered me more then $2.50 though..lol. thats just rude.

they gave me $25 i think

If you or a friend is member of Costco, check it out. I looked online and at 6-7 stores. They had the best price (if you count online shipping).

I bought mine for 11 bucks =) woohoo tradein kicks ass haha, yeah you'll have trouble at first because it invovles knowing what to do. compared to most other games where it's straight forward. Buy whatever car you want, there is not "best" car just what you think is best lol

Welcome to the GTP. Buy the game. Then learn to spell, since I don't really understand what you're trying to say. If you want 100%, you're going to have to do the following.

1. Buy GT4
2. Practice and work hard
3. Do mission 1 as first mission
4. Hope the Autosave dosen't screw you.

You're welcome in advance.

autosave kill count = 15 ;_;

sooo many times has it stuffed up my game alone.. ...

what a stupid feature that isnt welcomed at all.
