Does the Chassis reinforcement help in getting faster 1/4 mile times, or is it a waste of $20,000?

Helps in cornering slightly anyway although that's not what your looking for. It's very cheap so you might as well check and tell us the results.:)

Ok so I tested it on my Ford GT (no stripe) and here are the results:
I ran 3 tests with and without Chassis Reinforcement
Without average was about 9.125
With average was about 9.106
So it made it .019 seconds faster
My fastest time is 9.100 so far

Interesting. How many miles did the car have?

This reminds me of the findings that washing your car under certain situations, got you better times :p

Does it really? I better start washing all my cars then :D. My Ford GT (no stripe) has 15,279.5 miles

Ive also found that if most of the weight is in the back on FR cars, that comfort tires on the front can make it go a little faster, but not by much, guess because of less traction and its only on certain cars

It will have no effect as you are driving in a straight line. All it does is reinforce the cars frame so it doesn't twist it, therefore increasing rigidity and improving cornering. As you will not need to corner, again it will have no effect so save yourself some cash.

Also, your times from testing are invalid as the launch is different each time thus making it seem to have improved your car. However, I can do the same thing without the reinforcement. It's all about controlling the revs at launch.

well from what I've been gathered its all in the ratio's and how You set them perfectly, they stay a big role more than suspension from what I've done and my best quarter time is 8.9 with my no stripe

I thought since maf...... ahh forget it!
Pre or post update 2.04? Pic?

:)

EDIT: Sure that it's 1/4mile and not 400m?
Cause that time would be ridicilously fast.
