I was racing in a one-make race.
I was using NASCAR at Special Stage Route X.
All of the A.I braked before entering the turns.
I mean c'mon you need to brake for that??...

The computer slows down a lot more than they should for the wider turns like in Fuji Speedway and Cape Ring's loop or NASCAR tracks.

Agreed. That is exactly why I asked. For doing single player stuff AM is the place to do it.

Someones using an over powered cars for most races by the sounds of it...

Arcade Mode AI is a million times better than GT Life...

It's the same way in Forza 4. The Gt5 Life and FM4 World Tour are clearly geared toward more casual racers.

But even the FM4 Free Play AI are garbage... GT5 Arcade mode will at least put up a fight, and provided you arent running an over powered car, a good fight at that. And the FM4 AI cant use their mirrors...

So am I imagining things or after the last few updates the AI got pretty aggressive in GT Life/Seasonal event? They will go out of their way to block you and turn into to you when you try to overtake them. Almost like Kazuki Nakajima's move on the Delta Wing or the dumb GTE Ferrari on the Toyota at Le Mans...

Possibly valid points, but if you aren't trying to get this thread locked they're likely to be a bad idea. Don't threads that devolve into "FM4 versus GT5" usually get locked?

The AI was more aggressive before, now it just brakes when you're close. But arcade has improved since they implemented the slider for aggressiveness.

Also, in GT Life or Seasonals, you can easily win with a lower PP car, unless there's a rabbit involved (ie: an overpowered car among competition).

I think that the AI has been trimmed down to make things a bit easier to newcomers.
