hi everyone

ive had GT3 since launch and ive been messing around drifting for a few months here and there. its tough, but i think im getting better at it. some of my favorite cars to drift with r the R32 Skyline, Audi S4, Trueno, WRX Sti, and the Evo VI, although i like to experiment with all different cars.

You're never going to get bored with all the drifters here. Welcome to GTPlanet!

true true.

ive been doing a little bit of reading and it seems theres quite alot of newbie drifters, ill fit right in.;) although im not really a newb at drifting, i still cant put off the really long drifts. right now im practicing Apricot Hill turns 1 & 2. im trying to combine the 1st two turns into one long continuous drift. if ur not familiar with Apricot Hill, turn 1 is a mild lefty into a short straight, into turn 2, a sharp lefty. ive been using the RX7 (FC) and i can get about 3/4 through the drift with lots of speed (about 80mph) but i always lose my drift as soon as i enter turn 2.

ahhhh.... that is the best turn to play around with.... just make sure you dont loose too much speed in the first turn.... depending on car you dont even really have to brake just let off the gas and oversteer and begin braking just before turn two... at least it works for me in most cars...

good choice tho... you feeeeel so good after you do it. even if you cant repeat it consistently...

pretty good little video there. and for the apricot turn you tried to do. try useing sim tires to get longer drifts. i ALWAYS use sim tires and that turn is fun and easy to me now after many trys with diff cars

i do use sims. i think im gonna add a little bit more hp. i run out of power at the end of most of my drifts and i end up with too much grip. that RX-7 is only like 50hp over stock.
