Hey everyone, I just beat the Laguna Seca 200 Mile endurance. I used the completely stock Viper GTS-R Team Oreca. I tried qualifying with it and I pulled a 1:15:8xx on my first timed lap around, the other Viper GTS-R did a 1:18:2xx so I figured I had this race in the bag.
I extended the gear ratios quite high because the tail was very wild particularly on the Andretti Hairpin, and somewhat for the Corkscrew. Anyways, I never ever got to 5th gear that is how high I set it, but the car still had good pick up thanks to those 10 cylinders of american anger! I used a pit strategy of around 7-8 laps and held the lead from lap 8 on. I remember lapping the other GTS-R at one point but at the end of the race he was only 24 seconds behind!!! Thank God I didnt pit because I thought I was laps ahead of him!!! I enjoyed this race but it wasnt as enjoyable as Rome Circuit with my ZO6.
So far I realize I have been extremely lucky. On Grand Valley 300km I won the F090/S, on Seattle 100 miles I won F687/S, on Laguna Seca 200 miles I ended up winning F686/M and on Rome Circuit I won F688/S. However on Roadster Enduro I won a Miata and on Tokyo I won a C-West Razo. I have won all four cars from Super Speedway 150 miles and the rest I havent raced.
Well, Trial Mountain 2 Hours is scheduled Friday afternoon (4:00pm). I plan on using something interesting with barely any miles, I am VERY open to suggestions.
I am almost complete the game, I need encouragement to burn to the end!!! Thanks for any support!
