well, i just bought burnout 2, and i have to say it is pretty good so far, and a massive improvement over the original. i am up to the fourth face off, (need to unlock) and the custom series qualifiers. I love the addition of cars and now all i have to do is wait for need for speed: Hotpursuit 2 to compare it well. Does anyone else have this game???
I traded in some old games for Burnout 2 and NFS:HP2 and both games are excellent. Burnout 2 definitely runs smoother, but NFS is an incredible game in it's own right.
Burnout controls more like San Francisco Rush, but I like the change from Sim style racers that I've been playing. (GT3, SegaGT) I particularly like the crash mode, I am still missing one gold medal, but I'm only about 650,000 short each time. If I can just get one more car into the pileup....
btw it looks really sweet on a Progressive scan TV
