And I noticed this new Vision GT??
Has GT gone to fancy space cars now, instead of actual production cars?
I was glancing over the updates while my PS3 updates itself, so I can see what new cars were added. Hoping to see something like the Camaro z28 or some of the other new cars that have been up for sale lately, and I was shocked to see only Vision GT cars, these odd looking imaginary cars that are not actual cars??

Is this what i can expect when I spool up GT6 for the first time in over a year?

Spec 2.0 is "maybe" coming soon so this could be the start of "real production car" DLC's. As we recall to GT5, Spec 2.0 was the start of the paid DLC packs.

Edit: "Maybe"

It has been a while then - though I think the most recent new car added was a version of the BMW M4 in November 2014, and the NISMO GT-R before that.

We'll be getting a new race car very shortly too - the LMP2 Greaves Motorsport Zytek-Nissan as driven at Le Mans in 2013 by Jann Mardenborough, Michael Krumm and Lucas Ordonez.

It's certainly true that they're concept cars, but "imaginary" is a bit of a stretch. Physical models of several of them have been on display - at least the Aston Martin DP100, Nissan Concept 2020, Alpine VGT, VW Vision GTI and Mercedes Vision GT all have show cars and the latter was supposedly marked for a limited production of 5 road cars.

Source? I would like to know where you have obtained this information at because I have heard of nothing of the sort. Also, I would like to remind you that posting false and misleading information is against the AUP. If this is just speculation on your part, then you might want to re-word your post. :)

Source or reference, or else it's BS.

...Mercedes Vision GT all have show cars and the [Mercedes] was supposedly marked for a limited production of 5 road cars.

But those, even if they are going to happen, will be privately built by a coachbuilder, and not an official Mercedes project. ;)

It saddens me that GT6 DLC has been focusing so much on Vision GT. I suppose it's cool for those who really like them but I think the game is losing touch with the things that always appealed to GT players - to drive those road cars that don't necessarily appear in other driving/racing games. At least they could have done more to add those new cars that tend to shake up the automotive industry every once in a while, much like when they added the BMW M4 to GT6 and the 86 GT / BRZ - FR-S trio to GT5. It just happens too infrequently, and I would gladly pay for such content. However, what they don't add now will most likely make it to GT7, thus adding more exclusive value to its full game price tag.
