Just cracked lvl 30 A Spec

And I'm interested to know if I can glitch the Vettel Challenge races as I don't have a land-line and my GT5 hasn't been updated once. Can I glitch the races or did they come in an update?

And if I can glitch them, can someone show me how?
I searched but I really couldn't find anything.

Why not just try & bronze them & get your trophy ?

They made the challenge 10 seconds easier per track now for the bronze times , and i've seen that people on GTP have golded them using the DS3.

It took me 5 straight hours just to bronze these , and I did it long before they made it easier....

Just give it a go , as what's the point of cheating to get the car if maybe you don't think you can handle it in the first place ?

I don't really care for the car, but I'd like to have it in my garage. I might give it a go, I was just hoping the glitch might work. I'll keep searching anyways :sly:

How about you sell the game and buy NFS - there's a £12 DLC which unlocks all cars, you're one of those who'd find that quite handy. 👍

..Err, yeah no. NFS games are beyond **** and I'm a GT player for life. Weird....
 
After about oooh...45 minutes I managed to get silver on all races :sly:

I basically drove it like I stole it, haha.
My love for GT5 will never end. Now that I have two X1's, time for more endurance races 👍

I don't consider myself "good" at this challenge, but I'm consistent with my lap times so I rarely had to start over. Once you get past the speed of the car, it's pretty easy 👍
 
Just keep trying I Golded all 3 of them with my ds3 it's not that hard once you know how to handle the car and know the tracks.just keep practicing.

Was it with the original times or the updated ones?

They only patched the bronze times as far as I remember. Congrats on all silvers though. Best I ever managed with my DS3 was bronze.👍

Yeah , only the bronze times were changed by 10 seconds each. 👍

Interestingly enough , doing this challenge put me off driving the X1.

After 5 hours of hard work and black rubber marks ingrained into my hands from my DFGT , I just didn't want to drive it anymore .....

*Edit* - Since you're still on the first version of GT5 , do you still get the overheating tyres glitch ?
You probably know what I mean , but in case you don't -

If you take a powerful car , a fully tuned Mercedes C63 @ 1000 bhp for example . Take it to Nordschleife & race and check out the 2 long smoke trails from your tyres after a little while , ( They don't disappear ! This was taken out & tyres would cool down alot quicker after an early patch ) .

I thought this was weird before I got online with GT5 , as I thought I was overheating the brakes or something lol.
I was such a noob.......:confused::lol:

And yeah, I know what you mean actually. I usually race my Mclaren F1 with Sports Hard tyres and there's always a big black line waiting for me as I pass it again. I love it actually. I've got some interesting photo's with them too, haha.

Edit: I forget to mention that I drive with a G27, haha.

I guess it required a lap time which is 10 seconds faster before the update was conducted? One of my friends told me that it was much harder to even achieve the bronze than it is now.
