Thought I'd compare my fastest cars on a time trial of SS Route X. The Dodge wins by a country mile!
The P1 was doing well but must be some kind of hybrid because when the green battery indicator ran out, its speed dropped from about 348 KMH to 312 which ruined its lap time. Otherwise it's my new favourite!

Before the Tomahawk glitch was discovered, the SSRX American 700 was my go to grinding race. I even still do it sometimes if I just want to get the Daily Marathon bonus an am doing other things since you can just rubber band the throttle and move out of the way of traffic at the start. I use a C7 non-Z06 Corvette, tuned to the max (something like 850hp), and it'll hit 260+ mph (418 kmh), 270 with a good wind behind it. I'd imagine that any car that can do a sub-5:30 can get that trophy.
 
I'm a bit sad you can't reach crazy speeds with the Supra or Skyline anymore like you could in GT6. Iirc my Supra drove 500+

Yes, the Jag goes to 422 KM/h - I need to check the Chaparral VGT again, forgot!

EDIT - it does 401 (occasionally 402) on the flat, 405 going downhill..... :)
