Just got GT4 for easter, should I wait.......

Should I wait to begin playing GT4 until I have the DFP???? I have completed every Gran Turismo 100% since the first one arrived on PS1 and have been aching to play since it was released. However I didn't have the cash with rent/gas/groceries/school until now. I plan on purchasing the DFP in the near future as well as constructing some sort of cockpit based off of one of my dad's old recaros. Anyway opinions would be appreciated.........

I have just been told that the game with the DS2 simply doesn't do it justice and the DFP makes all the difference..........
 
Just try it out. See how the game is and just start all over when you get the DFP. That's what I would do if I were in your position.

Here's the greatest thing since... well, Gran Turismo 1 and you're... pretending to waffle. :)
Put in the machine man, we all know you want to.

Listen to your PS2, it's saying, "Stick it in, stic- Well maybe not those words, but anyway.

Whoever told you the DS2 cannot or will not do your game justice is just madly biased for force-feedback steering wheels.

This games rocks with the DS2 as well. :)
 
It appears you are not capable of making any kind of decision at all as it pertains to your life. So, I will help you. You will need to sign Power-of-Attorney over to me, Speedy Samurai. I will make every decision in your life for you. Your spending, your saving, your investing, your retirement fund, etc ad infinitum. Of course, my services don't come cheap, but then again, I have power of attorney so you don't have to worry about it.
 
Just check it out, do a little exploration, maybe do the first license test....wait no, don't, it would be more fun to wait before doing that. Just have a look around the game and see what's in it. Look at cars from each manufacturer if want.

Or you can go play arcade mode.

Edit: How long will it take for you to get a DFP?
