Hy everyone, I just bought GT Concept from ebay, but what I want to know, is what do I need to play it here in Mexico, I have a Samsung Big Screen TV, it is a NTSC TV, so what do I need to play the PAL version of GT Concept, what can I get to convert my TV settings from NTSC to PAL, and what do I need to let my NTSC PS2 play a PAL game, thanx for your help, I really need it!

AS far as I know, your PS2 just has to be a PAL verison. I'm sure the TV don't matter.

Are you shure the TV can play it with full color? even if it is an NTSC TV????, and is there something that I need to get to make my PS2 play NTSC and PAL ???

If you PS2 isn't chipped then you can either chip it, or get a slide card or whatever it's called, the card is safer than a chip and doesn't invalidate any warranties. The TV as far as I know should display the game fine.

Thanx for the help guys, then can you give me more information about the card please??, what does the card do?, where can I buy it?, what is the brand name of the card, what is the price?, sorry to bother you but I dont know very much about this kind of things, thanx a lot....

And if my tv is from the US then is NTSC right?, correct me if im wrong... Is a Samsung big Screen, I bought it 2 years ago??, I will have problems with the black and white PAL thing some guys had????

I play Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 US-NTSC i think (anyway it's NTSC in English) and a PAL V5/6 PS2 with a Matrix infinity chip. It does everything automatically.

My TV was the cheapest new 52-cm TV i could buy ('bout 150 euros) and i had no problems with the conversion. It should also work the other way around :)

i live in the US. i have a PAL ps2 and several europe only games, GTC, GTPrologue, and the BMW 1 series demo. I had power issues that i have since fixed, but anyways, I cannot play them on my normal TV. The difference in PAL and NTSC that i can tell is the refresh rate. NTSC is 30 frames per second and PAL is 25 fps. so it is displayed all jacked up. ive only had stuff running for about a week, but what i did is plug it into my computer cuz my computer has a capture card. i run the sound and video into it, and then ive got a program that will display what's coming in. the graphics are crappy, but the games are still hella fun. there may be some other way to play on an NTSC tv, but i am unaware of it.

hope this helps somehow.
