man......what a rush. all i have to say is that this thing is nuts!

i gotta learn all over again though. lol

LOL, driftnewb110. You really are a n00b aren't you? :dopey:

If real cars do 900 degrees.. Pay attention to the driver. :sly:

I got used to the wheel quickly, except for the spinning part... I have to turn the wheel like a monster.

Oh, and we should discuss this in the DGP thread..

Why did I post here anywayz. :dopey:

The Force Pro wheel is quite nice, but how much did you pay for it? 150ish? And how is the force feedback on the wheel? Button placement and feel? I really would want to get one but i dont wanna be sorely disappointed.

in 200 degree mode, i keep doing left and right zig zags.

i like 900 mode better obviously. but countersteering is a *****. i have it mounted to my tablemate too...lol. its not very sturdy. at least i get the effect of the wheel bouncing and moving around (like i was in a cockpit).

That was the thing i was worried about was mounting it. I bought or (rented) a ghetto-wheel and pedal set from toys-r-us to work on steering wheel basics before I upgraded to the Logitech Pro. It was all good cept the force feedback was ghey, and only 1/4 of the pedal travel is 100% throttle 👎

I'm SURE the Logitech pro exceeds at all this, but i still havent figured out where to mount the thing. Its not like I have a desk right in front of my TV. If I was a true baller I'd rig up my unused OMP kevlar seat with some fabbed up wheels and pedal attachments... If I wasn't so afraid of everyone laughing their ass off at me when they come over. 💡

But until then I did see a 'lap' attachment for the pro wheel so you can use it on your lap. I don't like movement tho. I want it solid so I can toss that B!tc# around! :sly:

Congrats! My wheel is starting to stutter whenever I countersteer. Probably because of too much "input" from the driver, lol.

Is the wheel very sturdy? I worry about breaking it like what I might do to my wheel :nervous:

well.....i got it down pat.... for the most part. drifting is still waaaaayyyyyy hard and i can do a lot better with the ds2.

but gt3 has become a whole different game with this wheel. fun factor is way up.

the only thing is the countersteer and coming out of drifts/holding them.

*back to the drawing board*

I mount my driving force on a TV dinner table infront of my chair. It actually works pretty well. Don't do the lap thing. It'll mess with your pedal work. I know from personal experience.:yuck:

select-R3-right paddle.

get your info straight dude.

and welcome to gtp :)

i tried using the Wheel on GT3 and couldnt do it, I will just wait for GT4 and play through Sim Mode on that only, and that should train me up to using it by the time I get to drifting and drifting online

i use 200 mode for f-1 cars...if there are f-1's in gt4 then i hope you can switch back still...because real f-1 cars use 200 or 270 i think. not sure...

I love my wheel. My setup is the best freakin setup EVER. Perfectly customized to fit MY body curves, erginomics, etc...anyways...I've gotten better at the wheel than I am at my DS. I just got 6 Time Trials with it. Planning on finishing the game with it, only got 3 more things to do. Complex String TT, F1 Laguna, and F1 cote. I'm doing laguna first, then finishing sim mode with cote, then finishing game with CS. Probably tomorrow I'll be done. w00t.

Well, I kindof regreted buying this wheel. Not that its not good, its awesome. But I really almost never play with it. ( i think total play time so far is less than 3 hrs ). My skills with it sucks compared to my DS2 and its really a hassle to carry it down all the way from my bedroom to the living room, set it up, only to dismantle everything again after playing. Lol... guess its wasted on a guy like me
