Just got scammed, anybody sympathetic?

I was doing a trade with someone i met in a lobby, and i sent the car first. after i had done that, he said i had to sign out in order for him to dupe his car to send to me, an audi R10, with me saying that i didnt need to sign out, but he was insistent, so i did, with the feeling that i had just been scammed, sure enough soon as i signed back in, i was no longer friends with him on the psn network. so is there anyone kind enough to send me one as ive now lost my gift for the day. i can send you a car on the 25th GMT so the 24th after the reset for the US.

This may sound bad but we have had it happen and the only thing u lose is a trading day. Buyer Beware is all i can say

actually i did, i lost my chance to get a new car, thats the thing, i only have until sunday which is when i go back to boarding school, which i have no access to the internet using a ps3 due to the firewall there. that means 1 less car for me to be able to use offline while im there.

edit: i'm a duper myself, but i feel a little bit bad when i got scammed, not be cause i don't get the car, but it's just that someone lied to me, or the feeling that you have when you've been tricked.

I just find it strange that the first place people come is here to tell of there beans for cow story but didnt get there beans yet somehow they will get gold to replace there missing trades

I also had this happen but in different terms, he posted on my thread tht he wanted this car. Then i sent him that car, then he sed it was the wrong car and told me to check my thread again, and it shows he edited his post for a different car, then he had a cry about it and didnt return my 5 mill dollar car. So i pretty much gave him a free car.

Yep this has happened to me aswell really it does irrate me but as long as you back up you wont lose anything.

Trading i feel is a bit like Ebay you have just got to be careful , but hey like others have said it is not the end of the world.

Guess what, i went onto the online lobby, only to see that he is now hosting a "trading room" and i cant get in to tell everyone that he scams because hes blocked me from going into the room.

Makes me laugh that this guy can scam to his hearts content, but he can't be named and shamed to prevent it happening to others...license to continue with his lowdown tricks...still suppose rules are rules!

What makes me laugh even more is why he needs to do it anyway, given the save backup ability now available...just complete the bloody trade honourably man!

Still there are plenty of good guys round here who will send trade and be prepared to wait days for the return trade once slots are available.
