Just got YLOD & need help

My old 60gig "fattie" just died on me last night in a race.:grumpy:
However I do keep game saves on a USB stick:tup:

Just bought a new slim, but not sure how to go about importing old game save in. Do I just need to install GT5 start new game save and overwrite with old?
Also does anyone know if GT runs better or worse if I don't do full install on HDD?

Some say it runs better with no install, but all you have to do is make sure you have a game save with your PSN, and then reload your USB save :).
 
I've only run with it installed, so I cant help you with that, but the "old" game save just needs to overwrite the "new" game save and you'll be good to go.
 
Install the game, start it up, load the updates. Then quit the game, insert USB stick & copy your gamesave from the USB stick to your PS3 (overwrite it). Start GT5 & enjoy. :dopey:👍

To not mess it up, I suggest copy & backup your gamesave extra on your PC before. ;)
