This is the first opportunity I have had to order myself a rig as most sellers will not ship to where I live. I came across this on the Amazon Marketplace and found myself forever viewing it throughout the day :sly:

Decided to order and ordered it a short while ago, looks very adjustable and easy enough to assemble, in my opinion a pretty nice looking rig as well.

I live in a shared house and didn't have the option to construct a rig myself as I don't have the space and the noise issues as well won't please the rest of the household.

It does have the center post issue but coming from a WSP I have adapted to that and don't find it gets in the way, come to think of it any rig is a step in the right direction after owning the WSP for just over a year.

Here's a pic

Any of you guys had experience with this rig, and whats your thoughts?

Center post is highly overrated, I don't love them but I also don't hate them. Nice rig you're going to love it. :)

It looks good, you will really enjoy having a seat. I recently received a Playseat GT after having a WSP for 3 years and it is so nice. I really liked the WSP but this is so much better. Is the pedal plate adjustable on it? It took a few days for me to get used to the angle of the playseat but it doesn't bother me now.

Enjoy your seat:tup:

I don't think the pedal plate is adjustable from what I have read, but I have seen a tip on one of the forums to turn the plate around so it's flat. Being flat would be perfect for me as i'm used to them sitting flat on the WSP.

If this doesn't feel right it shouldn't be to difficult to come up with something quick and simple that feels right for me.

From pictures I have seen the pedal plate looks pretty steep for the G25/27 pedals, so the plate is probably not going to be good enough for the CSR Elite pedals.

Others that have this setup have even said they bent the pedal plate to the angle that was right for them, this may also be an option. I shall see what's best when it arrives.

Are there any ideas from you guys? Have you had a pedal plate that's needed modding for your pedals?

A rig makes a world of difference, it's a whole new world. It's so immersive and just brings a new level to you racing.

This was one of the first rigs i looked at. I seem to remember ISR saying anymore then a 32 waist is going to find it very tight. As I am a large man so it was a no no for me.

I would try the plate first, I have just fitted GamePODs PPS ( peddle positioning system ) to my EVO it adjustable so you can set an angle. What a revelation ! Just to be able to tip my clubsports back a little improved the feel no end. I no longer had to push my foot flat on the gas.

Yeah I watched the ISR review before purchasing and noticed what they said about seat room. I should have no problems fitting my behind in this seat :sly:

I have the CSR Elite pedals and i'm sure the angle is steeper than the G series pedals. Like I said though it shouldn't be to difficult to mod them for my needs. I will obviously test them as they are first, there may not be a problem at all.

I need to get my hands on a drill though as the ISR review also mentions the wheel mount doesn't come with pre-drilled holes.

Needing some help or advice :)

My rig has just arrived today and I have it all setup. The only problem is the pedal plate that isn't wide enough for the CSR Elite pedals. Do you guys have any idea where I can order a bigger pedal plate from or is there an easy mod to resolve this issue

What I have seen in other threads is people using a thin sheet of plywood or another piece of sheet metal between the pedals and mounting plate. Just paint the plywood black if you use it.

It looks like an improved Playseat with an actually good seat. I like the angle adjustability on the wheel plate.

I approve.

Thanks Coxis:tup:

At the moment I have my pedals pushed right up against my TV unit until I can figure a solution to mount the pedals properly. I have a bit of movement which isn't ideal but it will have to do until I can sort a proper mount for the pedals.

I came across a playseat pedal adapter on Ebay which supports both the Clubsports and the Elite pedals, but the price along with shipping was crazy

Here's the link

What do you guys think?

I have the model below this one. The seat is different, and also sits lower to the ground.

I have some CSP's attached to mine. Used some bracketing system that I 'borrowed' from my work to fit them. Will post a picture in the morning for you.

I also have the pedal plate in the upright position, pretty much have the pedal faces vertical. As my seat is low to the ground they are at a perfect angle for my driving style.

The centre post, too me, is no problem at all. I can left foot brake or right foot brake without it affecting me.

I've ordered some caster wheels from eBay which I will be fitting to the rig to make it abit easier to move around my room. It's quite heavy and a pain in the behind to lift/drag around. So some wheels should make it easier.

*Won't let me add pics via the iOS app. Will add them later after work.
