finally got tired of my weak setup and ordered the wheelstand pro after reading a few reviews and posts.

one question: people say the wheelstand pro is on backlog and may take 1 month. the email i got from wheelstand state that they are shipping in one week. what are your experience in terms of shipping time? thanks.
 
Seems to be longer from the posts I've seen, but good things are worth waiting for!
 
I found the WSP people to be bang on...

Great product for the money and mine arrived within the time scale they said at the time of ordering. I live in the UK and mine came from abroad, Poland to be exact. Your WSP I would expect to be shipped from within the US as they have an outlet in the US. If the people at the US side are as good as the Europe people then I'm sure it will probably arrive in the timescale they've promised...

Hope so anyway!
 
twan, i ordered from the international site. ordered on 2/22. today (2/24) got an email that they accepted payment. i think this means that they are sending it out today.

i did not realize they have a US distributor until after i ordered. the US site is about $15 cheaper. but i'd rather get mine sooner than later.

3 weeks total? bummer i have to use my crap ikea coffee table for more time...

sounds like everyone likes it a lot. what kind of chairs do you guys use?

You are better off with the international site at the moment. If they accepted payment today that means it will ship in 24hrs. Your order date and payment accept date are only 2 days apart which is great! Others like myself had a 2 week backorder before the item shipped. Yours should ship within 24hrs and if your on the east coast USA you should have it in 7 days or so.

The 3 week total is computed by 1 week shipping plus the 2 week back order they had up until this week.

twan, yup you are exactly right. i just got a reply from WSP that shipping is tomorrow. satisfied so far, and i hope it will make me faster, ha!

btw, i take it that you have one and like it a lot? which steering wheel do you use it with?
 
Just got the wheelstand pro. It was shipped via USPS and took about 11 days total. Have not had a chance to really test it yet, but I am so far very impressed with the build quality and the packaging. Seems real stable too. This is so much better than my TV tray setup. I only wished I had heard about WSP earlier!
 
Congrats on the WSP!

I've actually been contemplating about ordering one myself. My original choice was to go with the Playseat Executive Office Chair with the G27 adapter. The only thing I didn't like about the Playseat's setup was that the pedals still sat on the floor. I do kinda need a new computer chair as well, so it's kinda 2 birds with 1 stone. Right now, I have my G27 set on top of a rolling laptop desk. Yeah...no. :p

If I order a WSP right now, do you guys still recommend ordering through the international site for better shipping times?
 
I just ordered a WSP for my G27, which is on backorder from Logitech! They told me the WSP should ship within about a week. The G27's are due in early to mid April.
 
i got the WSP, it is just awesome and worth the wait! i had to wait a month for it too, when they had serious supply problem with high demand here in Europe, when they had made mine and sent it, it was only 2-3 days in delivery, which was a plus.


Oh and although many will see this as a little bit expensive, as it costs almost as much as the DFGT, it is worth it, totally worth it, and it's so damn robust and well made.
