We just recieved this through the post this morning, and I have a corncern or two about the looks of some games.
The cable only has options to do 480p, 720p and 1080i (no seperate resolutions). We are using it on 1080i at the moment (I have no idea how it is doing it, the TV only has a max resolution of 1360x768
) and some of the games look nearly the same as they were without the cable. For example, the Project Gotham Racing 3 in the Garage looks exactly the same as it did when I took THIS screenshot. In game it looks a little better than before, but no way as good as you people claim. Perfect Dark Zero is only a small difference too. We did lower it to 720p for PGR3 but it just looked worse than the 1080i.
It isn't all bad though, same games look bloody amazing, like Kameo. I have never seen such graphics in my life! No jagged lines and absolutely amazing colours and detail. Quake 4 is quite the same too.
I'm just wondering if anything is wrong here, becuase no way is all the games the "great" HD experience that many people claim, especially for PGR3.
Thanks.
