I just tried to buy an Evo 3 from the used car dealership but it says i need some license.

Could somebody tell me what to do first like what kind of car too buy etc?

It's not the license you're missing. The problem is that your driver level is too low. You can increase it by racing, BUT the used car dealership will change, as it adds 6 new cars every time you enter a new race.

First get your license to get familiar with the game. Next by a front wheel drive used car so you can do the lower races that will help you level up. Then get your Evo.

When I first started it wouldn't let me do squat without first buying a car, so I bought a level zero (0) car. That is all It would let me. Since I was at level zero, that was it. I bought a 15,000 credit Swift...then did 5000 credits of up grades too make me totally broke! Great! that earned me a trophy "penniless"!
what a great way to start, with a PSN trophy. Then I went racing and thats what you ought to do too. Oh and then send me a friend invite lol. I need friends in GT5.👍

Buy the go-kart, do the 1st karting event, giggle...in that order.

After that, GT5 is a huge playground and don't be afraid of B-Spec, it's actually quite fun.

You are forced to buy a level 0 car as the first action in GT5.
I recommend a premium Mazda MX5.
Then you can do some license tests or the Sunday cup.
You win a Go cart early on so I would not buy one first up.

Same as Uncle Harry mentioned, though i would(did) pick up a brand new type R civic for 19,980cr. It has the most hp per $$ and easily wipes the floor in beginner level with a set of soft semi racing tyres, basic sports suspension and then engine/exhaust mods as money allows. It`s highly tunable and a great car to start off with!

I recommend doing some of the licences first.

Then try out some of the special events, the low level go-karting and nas-car events are easy and will make you a decent amount of credits.
