Volvo, what other car can you overtake a Porsche with a Wardrobe in the back and not look like an estate agent or a businessman?

Edit: and none of those are as capacious.

The Citroen C5 comes close, but pace is lacking.

My 740 was non-turbo (Ithink I posted a pic once) . I didnt use it much anymore. And my S80 is a T6....with about 330hp or more on tap. Its pretty speedy :) .

I will have pics up of the car I bought with the 740 money...but I cant tell you what it is yet! hint: its an 82, and german!
 
I can just tell ya one thing: if you like volvos, Sweden is a paradise at summer... I mean, last night i was down town with some friends. and its like just volvos and bmw's... and the volvos are burning there tires and doing donuts all the time... I was riding with a volvo 142 when he burned some rubber as well... pretty fun ;)

Cool. Maybe I should visit Sweden. Love the economics, love the cars... what about the food, though? Is it palatable? :confused:

Those are the only German cars made in 1982 that I know of that could weigh less than a ton and could potentially be faster than a 944? :confused:

Bingo! it originally had the 8v engine, but was converted to a 16v, has a custom intake, full exhaust (headers too), performance camshaft, sparkplugs, wires etc, some other engine work done, sway bars, lower stiffer springs, shocks and struts, tie bars and performance tires, Its also got audi rims on it (the exact ones the quattro has in GT4)

Not sure off all the brands, but I will have pics up soon!

The food is like everywhere else... Heard of Swedish meatballs? mych spaghetti, pizza and stuff as well... the fast food are growing very fast over here as well...
