how does online racing work in F1 2012? do you basically just pick a car from one of the pre-existing teams/liveries? and what if someone wants to be that car already? or can you make custom liveries for online racing? i'm a GT5 F1/X1 racer and played the demo, looking to maybe pick this game up...
 
If you go to a quick race, you will get a random F1 car from this seasons line up, all performance is the same though.

If you create a custom race, you can select an existing team, have performance equal or set it to real life. You can also have AI racing to fill up the grid. There are no custom cars.
