Kari Motor Speedway is a purpose built auto racing circuit or race track, located in Orratukuppai, Chettipalayam, Coimbatore, India. The track's length is currently 3.2 km. It was inaugurated in 2003,in memory of Late Shri. S. Karivardhan or "KARI" as he was affectionately known.
Testing
The Track is rented out to Motorcycle clubs, Racing and Karting training schools, Indian Automobile Magazines for various vehicle tests on endurance, handling and driver training. The track also acts as a test track/proving ground for various Indian automobile/parts manufacturers, and is often hires by Jayem Automotives for testing and tuning various Tata Motors vehicles.
