Kart challenge giving out huge credits

Not sure if this has been posted before apolgies if it has.

Anyway i figured i'd finish off some of the challenges i hadn't done & this is what happened.

1st place is meant to be this

so thats 167k for about 4 & a half minutes racing :)
 
That's because they added all the prize credits together for bronze, silver, and gold.
 
I thought once you win them you dont get rewarded again?
 
For Special Events you get Gold + Silver + Bronze prizes if you achieved Gold.
 
I think it's supposed to be that way. You get all prize money up to the place you come in at. If you race that race again and win you get no money cause you already won it.

It's not like the regular races where you can race over and over again and get rewarded but only a little bit. It's been like this for a while with some of the bonus races.
 
How can you not know by now that Gold, Silver & Bronze get added together if you haven't done the challenge before and get gold. Likewise if you hadn't done the challenge before and you got a silver time, you'd get Silver + Bronze.

Well that may be the case, but I assumed you would have golded at least one challenge.


...and also the prize screen even shows GOLD+SILVER+BRONZE. It doesn't take a genius to work out what has happened.
 
Wow, it's almost as if three trophies have been added together! The console must be doing, like, some maths or something :D
