Hi, I'm looking for a site where I can find kart for sale in Canada preferably.

I wanted to know, do you need a certain age or permit to actually have a kart and race it just for fun, not in a league?

well me and my dad wanted to past the summer karting on nearby tracks and it's just for fun, I mean I want something that can go 80km/h or more.

Any club in your area should have some used karts for sale.We have at our club.goto
southsaskkartclub.tripod.com
clik on the newsletter and it will list them for you.
To race on most tracks, you will have to join a club for insurance reasons. Our track is a IKF sanctioned. They have a web site you can goto to find other tracks. They are not the only sanctioning body out there, so look around. Most sanctioning bodies have a min. age of 8 years old.You should be looking for a good 4 stroke kart, maybe with a Honda 5.5 hp engine. They are less maintance and are very reliable. The ther 4 strock class out there is Briggs and Straton. Alittle more work as most of them have been modified. The Honda's run more to a stock rule. Good luck and happy hunting. Any outher questions, feel free to get a hold of me.

I just checked it and it is up. For some reason, browsers have trouble finding it. Try it in a goto that adds the www. in front.

Did it work this time? Let me know.
Been up all night on this site, time for a nap.
CHEERS!!!!!

THe link isn't working.

And I have another question, well more of a comment.

I have maybe a budget of 2000 to 3000$é

well for my birthday on may 8 were going to a kart track and I'm gonna ask the track owner if he has any kart for sale or if he has any information on some. Your site still doesn't work though.

So div, did you find a kart? If so, what kind? It seems that out of province(Sask) people are having trouble with our link. They are trying to update it to correct the problem. By the way, my b-day is May 9.Yep, 42 this year. As I always say: It's not who old you are, it's who old you feel. And when I'm racing I feel 18 again.

P.S there is a thread in the motorsport and drift section on karting you should check out.
