He didn't do bad, but for some reason I expected him to just hop in and throw down.
This is front page news.
Besides, not bad for a guy who said that prefer to steer using the d-pads instead the analogs.
hopefully, through that experience he will now be able to properly implement the clutch system in GT6. Clutch kick, anyone??![]()

This should be titled Kaz does doughnuts in a professional drift car.

MOTORTRENDmitchHey great post![]()
Thanks bro!
But in all seriousness they could've laid him out a simple turn to drift and let Dai take him on a high speed run![]()
For a while, I thought Kaz was trolling Dai when he stalled the car and lurched about for a few moments.![]()
That's a good point. lol He did make an excuse before even starting. He seemed to be suffering from performance anxiety - it's more common than people generally admit.
I probably would have stalled it too, but then clutch work is hardly my strong point in the first place, even with ordinary, non-performance-oriented clutches (and flywheels).
In Fifth Gear, they taught a footballer how to do a controlled slide/drift in an R8 in a day (yes, AWD). I can't remember his name. Kaz has good car control just from racing, and if you see the Toyota 86 lap at Fuji that Kaz did a couple months ago, you can SEE his car control. I think we were all expecting Kaz to do a bit better, but then Nismo34 is right. He only had the 5 minutes to do anything. No point if you dont know how to drift. Got to learn to walk before you can run, doing simple counter steering donuts and figure 8's just so happen to be walking.
I TOLD myself I wouldn't double post when replying to Nismo34. What the hell.

Was it really that short? Hmm...
