I hope he really gets more into drifting, he may get a better idea of it, I wouldn't mind that S13 either. :D

That was really awesome to watch, thanks for the link. Kaz + learning to drift = EPIC! I hope he learns more about drifting, it's tons of fun especially on mountain roads. Would love for him to gather more drifting experience, and learn more of it myself in GT. :)

Nice video... Now hopefully Kaz will give us drifters more love in future updates!! 👍

hopefully, through that experience he will now be able to properly implement the clutch system in GT6. Clutch kick, anyone?? :O

By which I assume you mean they should add a mappable clutch button for all controllers? "Clutch kicking" works with my G25, so it's technically "implemented".

The clutch model still needs work, regardless of the controls you use, (and no, I'm not talking about the 0% throttle restriction, I mean the clutch model), but I don't know that a simple button wouldn't work as it is.

Don't even get me started..

This should be titled Kaz does doughnuts in a professional drift car.

Hey great post :)

Thanks bro!

But in all seriousness they could've laid him out a simple turn to drift and let Dai take him on a high speed run :)

No point if you dont know how to drift. Got to learn to walk before you can run, doing simple counter steering donuts and figure 8's just so happen to be walking.

For a while, I thought Kaz was trolling Dai when he stalled the car and lurched about for a few moments. :O

You know I thought that too. Like I said still not bad for somebody with no experience drifting, but on the other hand I can't help but feel he was holding back.

He seemed to be suffering from performance anxiety - it's more common than people generally admit. :p

I probably would have stalled it too, but then clutch work is hardly my strong point in the first place, even with ordinary, non-performance-oriented clutches (and flywheels).

I TOLD myself I wouldn't double post when replying to Nismo34. What the hell. :dunce:

That's a good point. lol He did make an excuse before even starting.

In Fifth Gear, they taught a footballer how to do a controlled slide/drift in an R8 in a day (yes, AWD). I can't remember his name. Kaz has good car control just from racing, and if you see the Toyota 86 lap at Fuji that Kaz did a couple months ago, you can SEE his car control. I think we were all expecting Kaz to do a bit better, but then Nismo34 is right. He only had the 5 minutes to do anything.

Was it really that short? Hmm...

 Hate it when that happens

Yes, I do understand he may have good car control, but hopping in a 427 S13 and learning to drift it in a short a time frame as he did... Kind of understandable they didnt do anything too major straight off the bat.

Yea I went to look for it too so I could see it but couldnt seem to find it either..
