Not really sure where to put this but man that would be sweet to have PD work their magic on a traditionally pc sim type flying game.
Something that has realistic physics but with the fun and variety of gran turismo

What do you guys think? Imagine taking off from carriers and having old school type dog fights. That would be cool

Microsoft Flight Simulator has that kind of aspect, but the dogfights would be cool side missions.

I have a few planes that I would love to see in.

I hope they're all premium though. ;)

Would this not just be war thunder? (Presuming it has the same physics that were in the IL2 games and birds of steel)

War Thunder, but with a disproportionate amount of Japanese planes compared to the other nations?

Kaz should make a Dating Sim with standard and premium girls.

With "racy" modification options?

At the very least, we should get TT2. The original is still in my PS2.

Don't even get me started. I've owned the game since '07 and still to this date, play it more or less on a weekly basis.

I'd love to see them coming out of their comfort zone and try something else besides Gran Turismo. A new Tourist Trophy or hell, why not a sequel to Omega Boost?

The first existing game I thought of was Sky Odyssey, a PS2 launch title where you piloted classic fighter planes on outlandish exploration missions. You could swap parts for different performance attributes and change the appearance of your plane, including painting it. Missions included flying through caves/tunnels, braving storms, clearing a mountain range with limited fuel, connecting with a locomotive-mounted refuelling rig mid-flight, and landing in tight spots. There are a fair number of air combat games around already (though certainly not too many) so something unique like that, with more objective-driven gameplay than a typical PC flight sim, would be welcome.

Like Tiddy says, you should look at the IL-2 games, specifically Birds of Prey or Birds of Steel and of course War Thunder. All three have simulator modes and let you take off from or land on carriers, or streets and any number of WWII airfields.
