I have a Kenwood KDC-138 deck and when you power it up it just displays OCER on the screen. I have googled my tail off trying to figure out what the problem is and only thing I can find is people saying to depress the reset hole under the volume knob which I have done and it goes right back to that error on the screen. I found that what it means is there is a speaker lead that is grounded out and it says to fix that and then reset it and it should work. I have the deck out of the car and hooked up to 12 volt power supply and with all the speaker wires taped up it still gives the error. Has anyone ever had this problem and found and fixed the problem?

Crap. My dad had this pop up on his car a few days after he bought it, and I can't remember what he did to fix it. I'll ask him if he remembers what he did about it.

For most people all you have to do is just hit the tiny reset button that is under the volume knob, but that didn't work for me at all:tdown:

No, I recall him pulling the head unit out of the dash and doing something more than that.

👍 Maybe he will have the answer, that would be great since I just got the thing and after 1 day it started this garbage:ouch:
