Hello,
trying to understand how to bind buttons and MPSs on my wheel to work properly in F1 25. Things are not entirely clear (especially when I am new to the game and want to control things manually as much as it gets) so there are questions I would appreciate help with:
  1. What is "Manual Pitstop" button for? How and when to use it?
  2. Can I bind the same button for DRS and Overtake? (I am running out of available buttons and it seems some "conflicts" are absolutely OK).
  3. Is it OK to bind same controls for "Navigate Left/Right/Up/Down" and "Menu Left/Right/Up/Down" (both in Menu Controls section)?
  4. What is "Special"? (last in Menu Controls section)
If someone can answer any of these questions, it will help me a lot.

Thanks!

1: "Manual Pitstop" is simply a QTE prompt (for the assigned button) when making a pitstop, there's a timer that counts down before turning into your box and it has a moderate effect on how quick/slow your pitstop will take the closer you get it to 0 when pressing it.

2: I tried this initially, you can but I wouldn't recommend it. Overtake is an ERS override, so if you have it active at the time and then hit a DRS zone e.g Montreal straight before the final chicane, triggering the DRS will then disable the ERS (and vice-versa if you wanted to save battery).

3+4: They were bound to my d-pad keys automatically (with resulting conflicts against each other) but I haven't noticed any issues navigating menus so far... as for the "special" binding, I think it opens up the player hub? I've not really touched any of that so not 100% sure.
