Hi all

I need a keyboard that's reasonable for casual gaming, but needs to be fairly light as well, because I use the keyboard on my lap since I don't use a desk (just my TV and me sitting on my bed).

Are there any good keyboards for around that price? I'm currently using a ultra thin portable thing from Logitech and it's HORRIBLE... I want something a little bigger and easier to use. I'm gussing it's going to be heavy-ish in the end, but I guess I'll have to put up with that. :D

I'll go over that budget if needed - but around £30 is preferable.

Thanks!

Well this keyboard will take a lot of damage and you can make use of a ps2 to usb adapter if you don't have any ps2 keyboard inputs behind your case.

I currently use a HP keyboard and it's model number is GM321AA. It's a standard sized keyboard and it's fine for me to use it on my lap while playing video games on my custom built PC which is connected to a HDTV. I just had to get used to the extra weight on my lap.

Just a quick update - I ended up getting a Logitech G11 for a ridiculously good price (£25 new). It's pretty big but it's a really nice keyboard. :)

Where.

Tell me. Now.

In U.K, the strength of their money as you may know, is ridiculous against ours. You wont find it for that cheap mate.

No, not really anymore-they're weak at the moment, and I'm predicting weaker.

50 bucks is still a good deal for that thing.

It was in a high-street store Curry's - don't think they exist in Australia? :(

It must have been a misprice because when I do a price search online the cheapest is just a tad under £40...

Here in the States there is an electronics supplier called "Radio ShacK". I ordered a standard size keyboard from their website .... www.radioshack.com

It is a standard USB type and works on my laptop as well. It was only $19.95

It is very light, but full sized. I also use it in my lap :)
