I'm sick and tired of joining rooms online with names like: "All welcome, free run, have fun" etc.. And having a nice cruise around the track, maybe have a race or two, and i get kicked purely for the fact i'm either A: faster than them, or B: Winning. I constantly keep myself to myself and race clean. This happens so often now it's bothering me. I thought the GT community would be a bit more mature to be honest. I messaged someone who kicked me earlier, he said my car was "too powerful", even though it was 50bhp less than his. Are there any nice rooms in the UK that contain racers who actually just want to have clean races and fun?

Try rooms that are A) Not on TTGTT and B) Have Clean in the title

I totally know what you mean as this has happened to me once or twice. You need to understand that just because the room says "welcome", "fun drift" etc. doesn't mean that the original owner of the room is still there and implying those rules. People take over rooms and change it the way they want to. I DO know from experience though that when you enter a room and your burning through the whole track and someone feels threatened or "not liking" the way you move, they will kick you. Stupid I know, but there are a lot of punks out there that don't like when other drivers blow by them without a look. Its more of a superiority thing I guess.

I've got kicked from rooms like that before I've even taken to the track. It seems that as soon as the original owner leaves the room, those that follow do not run it the same.

If you're interested, I run clean rooms nightly around 10p or so CST US. If you're on, you're welcome to join.

I'm dying right now

These rooms are awesome. Hoin em if you can

Try to only race with people you know & a reputable host. If the host i like leaves for whatever reason i leave too. More enjoyable that way. 👍

I got kicked from a dirty nascar room as soon as I entered because I didn't have enough in game friends according to the host, all I thought was F$%k you host, I hate people who kick you for stupid reasons like that, especially from a dirty room.

I disagree with leaving if I am next to be host, but I agree mostly

Idiocy is rampant my friend! Just learn the patterns and steer clear is my only recommendation. Hopefully once you find decent rooms you'll have a better time. I have experienced this sort of garbage more times than I care to count.

Persevere and all will come through.

You're bound to, without a doubt, run into these kind of people in a public lobby.

Avoid the sore losers like those guys you encountered and try finding a room with no racing aids/clean shuffle/BHP limits, etc.

I do sometimes host clean shuffle rooms online, but it could be at any time however.

In a decent room I'll give 'em a race unless I'm already leery of the new host. But if anything "funny" happens, it's usually not worth it to stick around and find out "how funny" it's going to get. That usually results in an hour of your life you'd really like to have back.

I play to race, not to babysit. If there's trouble, I'll boot.

It hasn't always made me popular, but it is always needed. Thanks to the way I run my rooms, I never have to wait very long for a great race.

Tonight was an excellent example of racing nirvana. Clean, fast, and difficult. Great fun.

Good rooms and good host are plenty if you are patient and a bit picky. As many others here mentioned, I avoid "Fun" rooms right from the start. Narrow your search to "for real racing". I then scroll through and look for rooms/hosts that have clean in the room title, and restrictions on tire type and pp. 90% of the time this lands me in a good room. Not to mention many friends have been added by being picky and finding the good ones. Good luck on your search for good race rooms.

Ignore race for fun, and free run, search on race for real rooms, lots of them still have plenty of practise laps. And although I'm not particularly quick, I don't often see people getting kicked.

I have to admit, that I sometimes kick random people out for room my friends.
No mean to offense anyone and hopefully people don't get it too personally.

One time kicked a players out and I send him/her a message to apologize when he/she was surprised and confused.

When I kick someone out of one of my lobby's there is always a good reason for it and it's never because the person has no friends in-game. Usually, the individual is given fair warning but if the persons first choice of car is the Redbull X1 he/she will receive the boot immediately.

If you're being kicked for no good reason other than you're simply a better driver than the host then the host of that rooms really isn't someone that you want to race with.

If I have a full room of good drivers then my friends will have to wait for an opening. I will NEVER kick someone I don't know for someone just because he/she's on my friends list.

I sometimes kick the slowest, the guy who's not really racing anyone but only being a potential risk factor in a race. I hope no-one takes it very personally.

Maybe they are just racist?
