Is your young GT5 racer tired of the public lobby hassle and wishing he or she could have a group of online friends to race with on a consistent basis?

My 9yr old son loves GT5 and is interested in starting a group/series with other clean driving young racers. The goal will be for young drivers to learn to drive cleanly, learn different tracks, race various car classes and most importantly...HAVE FUN! The race atmosphere will be casual but kept serious.

We'll have weekly races at an early evening starting time. Let's consider Sunday evening @6:30 EST USA. Racers should be 13 and younger. No dirty driving or foul language allowed. All racers will need to display good sportsmanship. Mics optional.

No Skid Recovery Force(SRF), but other aids will be optional. We'll do mostly 5 lap sprints and longer 10-15 lap races as well.

Send me:ncrthree a pm if interested or just reply here too if you like.
Send my son:jack00jack a friend request if this sounds good to you too.

Let's have this Sun-Aug 21 6:30-8:00PM EST USA as the first event.
DTM'S @600pp any tire choice. The eligible cars will be what's allowed in the newest seasonal. Plenty of these are in the current Online Dealership. We'll run Sarthe, High Speed Ring and Tokyo to start.
Send jack00jack a friend request before Sun 6:00 PM EST so you can enter his lounge.

See you on the track!

I'm interested. I'm 13. I'm not a dirty driver, just sort of aggressive, and not very reliable lol.

I'm not completely sure I'll make the first one, but I'll try.

EDIT-I can't do this, I forgot about my lag -_-

This sounds fun...wish I was 17 years younger. Have fun all you little GT fanatics!

There you go. Glad to see its worked.

👍

I have some students who play GT, I'll mention it to them, they're around 10/11. They may be interested. They can't come on the site though because their English isn't good enough to read it properly.

I probably won't be able to make most of the races, but I'll give this a go.

Hey, I'm just wondering, about how long will each of the races be?

I figured we would start out with sprints of 5 laps for shorter tracks. It just depends on the interest level if we go for longer races.

Good work mate, glad you took it out the Spot Races 👍

I'm in. :)
I'm 13, almost 14, and I'm mostly a good driver, but I am aggressive, and I make mistakes sometimes. I'll shoot your son a friend request when I have time. 👍
Edit: Can one of you guys look up the time difference from ncrthree's timezone and US Mountain Time? I'd appreciate it.

Little Lefty thinks he would play but his first real go kart race is that day. Maybe the next one though.

I am aggressive, and I make mistakes sometimes.

Maybe you might think about joining the WRS to understand how to apply you energy in the correct way to go fast, I'm sure that your current method of going fast is over played.

Not expecting any pro-drivers lol. Just a place for kids to meet up have some fun runs. Mistakes are bound to take place but the intention is to try to drive clean.

Intentional rammers, backwards drivers and the like will get the boot however.
