A brand new video comparing these monsters.
I think it's the best one by far.

Enjoy! 👍

The Agera R when running on Biofuel is faster than the Agera S, but when they are both on low octane gas the Agera S produces more power.

I've heard from somewhere that next year they are planning a race between a Bugatti Veyron SS, Koenigsegg Agera R and McLaren P1 but I'm not sure if that's true. If it is I don't think the P1 stands a chance although it might surprise me.

An interesting video but could have guessed the outcomes.

That Hundra

Also is it just me or does the top right of the Bugatti's windscreen appear to be cracked?

Yep, it's cracked.. :(

But yes, the HUNDRA is crazy fast.
It's a "standard" Agera S, but had "HUNDRA" added to it's name to celebrate their 100th produced car.
Hundred translates to "hundra" in swedish.

The difference is much greater than I expected though.. The Agera litteraly humiliates the Veyron.

Would be really cool if Gustav could organize a race between the Veyron SS and the Agera R.
One from 50 km/h, and one from a stand still.

Reason why they did'nt start from a stand still in the video is that the Veyron would need a new set of tires after such a launch... And a set of tires cost something like 25k €... 👍 ;)

Those results were pretty expected on a rolling start given that it was only the standard 1000hp Veyron. From a standing start, the 4WD Bugatti would crush the RWD Hundra in initial acceleration, before the Hundra claws the advantage back.

True.. But the Agera S is also a "standard" in that aspect..

Fact is that the host for this event wanted to do a race from a standing start, and so did the Koenigsegg driver.
But the Veyron owner did'nt want to cause he'd need a new set of tires if he did.. And that's somewhere in the range of 25k € for a set (as previously stated).

The outcome would'nt have been much different though..
The Koenigsegg Agera S still would've won the race.
Looking at the performance numbers suggest that the Veyron would make a small jump in first gear, but the Koenigsegg would start accelerating away after just 2-3 seconds.. So I don't agree with the use of "crush"..

I even think that the Agera S would beat the Veyron SS.
The owner of the Veyron says in the video (in german): "Nex year I'm bringing my Super Sport"...

Some people...

And then there's the Agera R... ;)
