Hey guys!

I was just roaming Youtube a bit and I ran into a video of a Koenigsegg (did I spell that right?) CCR at a drag racing event with other exotics... the car filming is a red GTR. Of course the GTR is no match for the CCR, but the sound that comes out of that CCR is just pure music to my ears... I just had to share it with you all... Be sure to watch it in HD ;)

- Highlights in the video are at:

- 4:30 (The acceleration is brutal and he has to ease off the gas pedal)

- from 6:15 onwards until the end... Please listen to the end of the video... nothing nicer than the sound of a CCR and Carrera GT launching for a drag race :)

 Yeah the clip is really really sharp... and good sound too... I'm going to look into one of those HD cams pretty soon too :D

Hi, here's another video of a koenigsegg with a stunning sound :D as Jeremy Clarkson yells "THE SOUND IS JUST ASTONISHING! The Koenigsegg is Swedish oh my head just exploded!!🤬 "

Gustav always gives us the good stuff with these races. 👍👍

Here's another one, this time it's vs a 599 GTB F1, shot from the Koenigsegg.

Been watching the videos from GTBoard for a while now. Awesome place to fill anyone's need for exotics racing. 👍

-> Just curious, is the CCX Evolution made by Koeniggsegg themselves or is it a aftermarket tuned car (or a made-up name)? I've never heard of such trim level in the CC-series.

well keoingsegg did make a ccx model. and after that it was the CCXR basically the same with bio ethanol in it to give it 1000 bhp and 250mph. so it is probaly that model just named slightly different in the video.

No because it says CCR on the side in the first video.

Far as I can remember there was no such thing as a 599 GTB F1 Edition either.

It's called the CCR Evolution because it's a CCR upgraded to CCX specifications. The Ferrari also means it's just a 599 with the F1-paddle shift. Ferrari's with it tend to be labeled as "F430 F1" or "575M Maranello F1".

^ Afer further research, its basically an upgrade package for the CCR. Ok, learned something new (and to add onto the VWL). :)

Time for a JIMP moment boys. CCR vs P800, finally the Koenigsegg gets some competition.

Enjoy. 👍

Ahhh yes, classic, "I don't know how to launch, so let's race from a roll" racing.
It's becoming ever more popular, especially for those with low traction.
Good video though.
