Ask most guys what their dream job would be and a good smattering would say, “Drive fast cars.”
Three guys from the UK are living that dream and now they’ve just bought a personal ride truly reflective of their supercar lifestyle – a new Koenigsegg One:1.

The guys, three parts of The BHP Project, drove the vaunted 1,340-horsepower One:1 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier this year, which was apparently convincing enough for the friends to buy one, and you’re looking at its official renders, straight from the design team at Koenigsegg.

According to the Swedish supercar builder, the BHP boys mulled over a few designs during the past couple months, changing their minds multiple times, before eventually settling on this. As of now, the car is the only right hand drive One:1 for the UK market and has sold through Super Vettura, Koenigsegg’s official UK dealer.

The One:1 comes dressed in a combination of clear and blue-tinted carbon fiber with triple-layered pearlescent stripes adorning some of its more pronounced features. Its dazzling appearance should live up to its blistering hypercar performance.

Billed by Koenigsegg as the “world’s first megacar”, the One:1 is the fulfillment of the vaunted horsepower to kilogram weight ratio of one to one. A staggering 1,340-horsepower is blasted out of the One:1’s twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 and put to the floor through custom Michelin Cup Tires mounted on carbon fiber wheels, most likely one of the only compounds that can withstand that tower of power.

Clever active aerodynamics keep this monster planted to ground, though we’d assume it’ll spend most of its time in a sideways motion…very very fast. Koenigsegg says it’ll only build six of these, boy are the BHP guys lucky.
