I recently went to an air show and much to my surprise I spotted GT5's favourite WW2 era Volkswagens. Thought I would get a few photos to compare to the game so here they are if anyone is interested. Not sure if they are exact same year/models as the ones in the game.

I was tempted to talk to the owners of the cars and boast of how the ones I own in GT5 have five times the horsepower & handling..... but ..... they had guns.

Good stuff man. Thanks for taking the time to post these. 👍 :)

Did you happen to the Wings over Wairarapa Airshow?

It would be fun to go fishing in the Schwimmwagen

Nice! I just purchased one of these in that very same color... lol

Cool! I did too, what day did you go?

I went on Saturday so got a bit of rain but never lasted too long. Had never been before was pretty good loved the mock battle at the end. Did you see this car? I didn't get to see it drive but looks pretty mean

I went on Friday, the practice day. I sadly didn't see the car at all, I only saw the trailer. It is the Hulme Can-Am (I think). Yeah, it does look pretty cool.

Looks a bit like the Caparo T1's smaller sibling.

I went to the Kumeu classic car and hot rod festival a couple of weeks ago. It showcased a lot of american muscle cars and a few Japanese vehicles. :)
