La Sarthe 1 & 2 - Touring vs LM

Ladies and gents,

How about this? I'm prepping to A-spec both la Sarthe's with a touring Car against the big guns. I've been running some practice laps with the Honda Mobil 1 NSX and The Nissan GT-R Race Car and it's a 200+ pointer, if won.

Out-gunned, out-cornered and out-weighted, has anyone done this before? I can only guess that it won't be the most pleasant of races as doing a few hard sweating laps bearely breaks even with them! :crazy:

2 leverage points are pitting less and them crashing into the walls, lol.

Who has done these crazy races?
 
If you mean the long 24hour endurances, very few. If you mean less then 6 laps on them, plenty.

RoadHazzard has done it with the Abt Audi TT-R Touring Car '02 after installing the stage 4 turbo. See link: RoadHazzard's La Sarthe race

Thanks for the replies. I didn't read about them prior to posting, my bad :banghead::ouch::banghead::ouch:

Honestly, there are very talented GT's out there!

The other day I tried my luck against a +10 AI on the Nurburgring family cup with the TC ZZII and it took a few tries to get it right, but hey, what fun!
