Have this question. Is it there any setup for your internet connection to improve gameplay and not lagging in US lobbies?

You can help it by doing things like port forwarding etc but no, you will never be lag free because of server location etc

That being the key word here.👍

Try going into the options menu and network settings and clearing your system cache, that may help a bit, but as other have said. The farther from the server location you are, the more lag there will be. If you have a wireless connection, a wired connection will be more direct and could help a little bit. This probably could've gone here...https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=233
Because it's not a drag specific question, it's a general question that deals with not only drag servers. Just drag in your case. You can easily move it there using the thread tools.

Dont use wifi. Hard wire your PS3 to your modem. Ummmm... Make sure you have the speed your paying for. Clear cache. If you have a cpu or something else on the internet at the same time turn it off.

Edit: We have a person from canada no lag. We have a sgt in Afghanistan no lag. And a third teammate in the uk. I dont think its all distance, I think its also how much they are willing to pay for high speed internet.

I know they have these for computers but you could get a wifi booster antenna for the PS3 (might work). Or get a wifi booster that plugs directly into the wall, most work pretty well.

From the uk, I rarely get lag in u.s servers an I'm the same got my router down stairs I run a 20 metre cable right up to my ps3/ gaming pc, fixed my problem straight away. Only cost me 17 pound for the cable, don't know how much that would be in Poland though.

if you wanted to spend 99$ get apple airport express and plug it in next to your ps3....acts as a FANOMINAL wifi booster. you can also hardwire from the express(wifi booster) and has same effect as hardwiring from main router.
